Our most affordable option, Long-Term Parking offers safe and secure garage and surface lot parking. Long-Term Parking is connected to all terminals by our AirTrain Blue Line. AirTrain service runs 24 hours a day, with station departures as frequent as every 4 minutes. To access AirTrain, go to the station on Level 5 of the Long-Term Parking Garage.

Why lug your luggage? Make life easier with SFO’s Remote Bag Check, operated by Bags Inc. Take advantage of our complimentary new service and check your bags at the Long-Term Garage. SFO's Remote Bag Check service is currently available for domestic flights on Alaska, American, Delta, Frontier, Hawaiian, JetBlue, and United. Remote Bag Check is located prior to the Long-Term Parking AirTrain Station, Level 5, and open daily, from 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Airline Baggage Fees apply.

SFO's Long-Term Parking is located just north of the terminals and is easily accessed from both Highway 101 and Highway 380.

From Highway 101 North or South, take the San Bruno Avenue exit and follow the signs to Long-Term Parking.

Assisting passengers from the terminal entrance (or vehicle drop-off point) to the departure gate, including passing through the security checkpoint and boarding the aircraft to their seat.

Assisting passengers from their arriving flight's seat through the airport to the baggage claim area, terminal entrance, or vehicle pick-up location.

Passengers requiring wheelchair assistance are encouraged to notify their airline of their needs when arranging their flight. Upon arrival at the airport, travelers with wheelchair or other special service requests should approach an airline representative at their airline's ticketing counter for assistance. At Domestic Terminals 1, 2, and 3, skycaps and/or airline staff are available at curbside and check-in areas. Due to the narrow walkways throughout the airport, motorized carts are not available to transport passengers through the airport terminals.

Under the ADA and Air Carrier Access Act, a service animal is a dog trained to perform specific tasks for a person with a disability. At SFO, service animals are permitted full access throughout the airport, including restrooms, shops and restaurants, gate areas, escalators, elevators, and AirTrain.

SFO provides Service Animal Relief Areas (SARAs) in indoor and outdoor locations throughout the terminals. These spaces operate 24 hours a day and include water stations, waste disposal supplies, and accessible paths.

Knowing your terminal is the first step to a stress-free trip. SFO has four terminals (1, 2, 3, and International) connected by the AirTrain and pre& post-security walkways.

Find information about security checkpoint locations and hours. Once through a security checkpoint, passengers can walk to all SFO gates.

Baggage carts by Smarte Carte are available to passengers in all terminals. Cart dispensers can be found in the pre-security areas of the Dianne Feinstein International Terminal, arrivals/baggage claim areas in Harvey Milk Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and Terminal 3, in all parking garages, the Rental Car Center, and Grand Hyatt at SFO.

Baggage carts are available free of charge for arriving passengers in the Dianne Feinstein International Terminal.

For all other passengers, baggage carts are available for use at $9.00 per baggage cart. The dispensers accept up to $20 bills and credit cards.

Baggage carts can be taken on AirTrain and to Grand Hyatt at SFO; carts are not allowed post-security. For your safety, please do not bring baggage carts on escalators or moving walkways.

Baggage carts are not permitted through the security screening checkpoints.

Baggage porters are available to all departing customers upon request and charge a fee of $3.00 USD per item. Travelers can use a courtesy phone to dial a porter, or can contact SFO's porter operator Primeflight directly at (650) 333-5670.

TSA Cares is a dedicated helpline that provides information on screening procedures pertaining to those with disabilities, medical conditions, and other circumstances. TSA Cares also coordinates assistance through checkpoint screening depending on the Airport's resources. If you believe you would benefit from this service, please call TSA Cares at least 72-hours in advance of travel.
